To the rhythm of passion, we step to the beat of the heart.
The Early Years
Born to a small island a mere day's voyage from Thavnair, M'harda Tia was raised among the clergy of the Temple of the Passion Dance, dedicated to the worship of Menphina. Upon growing to adulthood and passing the trials to become a Dancer and ordained Priest, he chose to leave his island home on a pilgrimage to seek out the beauty of the world at large and serve the cause of Love and Passion wherever he travelled. Choosing the name Dartambe and taking the nickname Sugartongue as his surname, the priest found passage on a merchant ship to Thavnair where he settled for a time to complete his training in the ways of the Kriegstanz. With his training complete, he began his pilgrimage in earnest on a trade ship bound for Eorzea.

The War Dancer
Early in his life at the Temple of the Passion Dance, the boy who would one day become Dartambe Sugartongue displayed an affinity for the path of the Dancer. Enthralled by the performances of the Temple Dancers, and captivated by their philosophy of The Rhythm of the World, Dartambe began his practice as early as he was able, beginning his formal training under the temple masters on his fifteenth birthday. After leaving home at 18, he traveled to Thavnair where he sought out masters of the Kriegstanz in Radz-at-han to focus his training into practical use for the wider world. At 24 years old, Dartambe completed this training and set out for Eorzea to begin his Pilgrimage proper.

The Bathhouse Consort
Nearing the shores of Eorzea, Dartambe's vessel was capsized in a great storm near the coast that he would later discover to have been caused by the rage of Leviathan before it was cast low by the Warrior of Light. Washing up on the beaches of Costa-del-Sol, Dartambe was discovered by a passing adventurer and rescued from the large crabs native to the area. With the aid of his new friend, the priest soon established himself and began his travels in earnest, exploring the continent and aiding the people wherever he could. It was during a break in these travels that his first companion brought him to the Stones of Envy for the first time. There, Dartambe would find a place of comfort and passion unlike any other, visiting the establishment regularly until eventually applying for a position full time.
